OUR SERVICES

Need any information design?

Do you have any  (scientific) information that is hard and inaccessible to read? Do you need your information to be translated into a visual language that’s easy to understand by the general public? Then you’re at the right address, we have both strong creative and analytical minds. Our designs catch the eye, are easy to understand and communicate information much more efficient. We do:

INFOGRAPHICS

Infographics are STATIC visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly.

INFOMOTIONS

Infomotions are DYNAMIC visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly.

INFOACTIVES

Infoactives are INTERACTIVE visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information interactively, quickly and clearly. (not available yet)

How do we work?

Infographics

1. BRIEFING

During the first briefing we go through the info with the client:

  • What needs to be done? (pages,..)
  • What does the client expect? (examples, style..)
  • What is the target audience? (stakeholders, general public, children,..)
  • What aims the client to reach with the infographics?
  • When does the client expect the first draft?
Please send clearly structured documents so it is clear what needs to be done. Add titles, subtitles and lay emphasis on imports words, sentences by changing the colour,

After the first briefing we’ll send our official offer based on the information we received.

2. INFORMATION PATTERNS

In the second step we go through the information to search/identify information patterns.

  • Are the different parts clear?
  • What is the most important part of the information?
  • What is the story/flow?
  • Can we combine parts of the information?
  • How can visuals contribute to a better understanding?
  • …

3. FIRST DRAFT

Once we have identified the information patterns we can apply information design to the story and create a first draft:

  • What is the sequence of the different parts?
  • What should the reader see first?
  • What is less important?
  • What visuals will we used to support the information?
  • What style will we apply to the infographic taking into account the end user of the product? (simple icons, cartoonish,..)

4. DESIGN

When the clients agrees to the first draft we go to the fourth step to convert the draft into the final design. During this process we consult with the client several times to obtain the finale result.

5. IMPLEMENTATION

When the client agrees to the final version we deliver the different requested formats and give tips on how to distribute the infographic.

2. CONCEPT

In the second step we think about the concept and we write the script (if not done yet).

  • What is the most important part of the information?
  • What is the story/flow?
  • Can we combine parts of the information?
  • How can visuals contribute to a better understanding?
  • What kind of motion will we apply to the script so it is attractive?

3. STORYBOARD

After the client agrees to the script we go into the third step: designing the first draft of the storyboard.

  • What information will we address to which scene?
  • What movement will happen between the different scenes?
  • What colour scheme will we apply to the storyboard?

4. DESIGN

When the client agrees to the storyboard, we design one shot before we do full storyboard.

5. ANIMATING

In the fifth step we animate the storyboard and make the transitions between the different parts of the animation fluently.

6. SOUNDDESIGN

What music do we need to support the different scenes?

7. IMPLEMENTATION

After several reviews we deliver the different requested formats and give tips on how to distribute the infomotion.
