About me

Hi! I am Pieter,  a passionate visual (science) communicator. As a biologist by degree and a self-taught designer I have been working on infographic and motion graphic projects with a variety of clients/disciplines. Through my analytical and my creative skills I am able to turn complex information into clear and appealing graphics. I’m also an experienced data scientist, able to visualise and analyse big data sets in Rstudio. As a freelance visual communicator I actively encourage scientists to become better visual communicators through interactive design workshops. I am also a member of scicomm collective Break it Down where I am the visual hatch of this organisation. I will be happy to assist you with any work regarding infographics, motion graphics, data science projects or any visual requests! Feel free to drop me a line on . I will be happy to help you out!
